Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony / Graduate School Entrance Ceremony for AY2025
Undergraduate and Graduate School Entrance Ceremonies for AY2025 will be held as below. Please check back for updates as changes may occur.
1 Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025
Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony (Program)
1st Session (9:00～9:25)
* Doors to the venue will open 40 minutes before the start of each ceremony.
- School of Humanities and Culture
- School of Social and International Studies
- School of Life and Environmental Sciences
- School of Science and Engineering
- School of Informatics
- Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School
2nd Session (10:55～11:20)
* Doors to the venue will open 40 minutes before the start of each ceremony.
- School of Human Sciences
- School of Medicine and Health Sciences
- School of Physical Education, Health and Sport Sciences
- School of Art and Design
- School of Comprehensive Studies
Graduate School Entrance Ceremony (Program)
12:50～13:15
* Doors to the venue will open 40 minutes before the start of each ceremony.
2 Venue: University Hall (Auditorium, etc.), University of Tsukuba
* If the main venue (Auditorium) is full or participants arrive after the ceremonies start, they will be guided to another venue (Hall, etc.) where they can watch the ceremonies via live broadcast.
3 Note:
- - Due to the capacity of the venue family members are limited to 2 in attendance.
They will be able to watch the ceremonies via live broadcast in other rooms in the University Hall but may not be allowed to enter the main venue (Auditorium). Please note that they will be guided to standing area or will not be able to enter the University Hall, if the capacity of the venue is exceeded. - - The ceremonies will be live-streamed on YouTube.
Please note that we will be filming the ceremonies, including the audience, during the live stream. (We will inform the detail information about how to watch it on this page as soon as it is decided.) - - Parking space is strictly limited. We would appreciate it if you could use public transportation.
Access
- To reach the University of Tsukuba, please see "Access to Tsukuba Campus".
- The nearest bus stop is "Daigakukaikan-mae".
* About 15 minutes from Tsukuba Center Bus Terminal adjacent to TX Tsukuba Station by the "Tsukuba Daigaku Junkan (University of Tsukuba Campus Circular)" bus (clockwise).
Notice to Current Students
Due to the Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony / Graduate School Entrance Ceremony for AY2025 to be held on April 5, 2025, the area around the University Hall will be very crowded with new students, so we ask that current students refrain from stopping by the University Hall.

Notice for New Students
- - We have only the Entrance Ceremonies for AY2025 on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The offices (such as academic service offices) are closed on the day. *Only at Tsukuba Campus - - Orientation for New Students and Distribution of materials (Student ID Card, etc.) will be held from Monday, April 7. *Only at Tsukuba Campus
- - The details of the Orientation for New Students will be announced on this page around mid-March.
