A Delegation led by the Tunisian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research visits Vice President KIGOSHI

H.E. Mr. Slim Khalbous, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Shinsuke Shimizu, Ambassador of Japan to Tunisia, and Mr. Mohamed Toukabr, First Secretary of the Embassy of Tunisia in Japan, made a courtesy visit to Vice President Hideo KIGOSHI (Research), Dr. Hiroko ISODA, Director of the Alliance for Research on the Mediterranean and North Africa (Professor of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences), and Specially Appointed Professor Mitsutoshi NAKAJIMA on August 30, 2019.


After attending The Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 7) held from August 28 to 30 in Yokohama, Ministry Slim Khalbous visited the University of Tsukuba. In this courtesy visit, university-level exchange between Tunisia and Japan and exchanges of views about the Tunisia-Japan Symposium on Science, Society and Technology (TJASSST) scheduled to be held from November 29 to December 2 in Tunisia, and 2019 Joint Coordination Meeting for Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS) were made. The two countries are expected to promote exchanges in the future.
