18th Batch of Japan-Korea Joint Program for Science and Engineering Students Presentation Session

A presentation session by students in the Japan-Korea Joint Program for Science and Engineering was held at the Center for Education of Global Communication (CEGLOC) on February 6.


A total of 7 Korean students took the four-month course at CEGLOC for the program. The course included Japanese language lessons and other preparatory education in the fields of science and engineering.


The following professors were in attendance: Professor Akihisa Ohya of the Faculty of Engineering, Information and Systems (Dean of the College of Engineering Systems); Professor Masamichi Kawai of the Faculty of Engineering, Information and Systems (Dean of the College of Engineering Systems); Professor Yutaka Kitamura of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (Dean of the College of Agro-Biological Resource Sciences); Professor Tomoki Chiba of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (College of Biological Sciences); Professor Jun-ichi Fujita of the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences (Dean of the College of Engineering Sciences)


Concluding the presentation session, Professor Hirosada Iwasaki of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (CEGLOC Director) offered words of encouragement to the students.
