演題:"Transcriptional mechanisms underlying stress-induced deficits in reward-related behaviors"

要旨: The experience of stressful life events has profound effects on the development of the diverse array of behavioral deficits, including depressive mood, lack of pleasure, reduced motivation, and anxiety. Isolating specific clusters of these stress-related syndromes with identification of pathophysiological mechanisms is an essential step towards improving effective therapeutics. In this seminar, I would like to discuss our recent finding that the underlying transcriptional mechanisms in the prefrontal cortex that produce symptoms of stress-induced deficits in the reward-related behavior using the chronic social defeat stress paradigm.
